We Expanded
Our program was so successful that we expanded our meals to twice a month in May 2005!
We had a great response from the Community, but we are finding a need for more financial donations.

New in 2009
We have new volunteers from many of our organizations, and quite a few Indpendent ones who are not associated right now with a Faith-based organization.
We added "Acts of Kindness" short stories to our program. Each Friday a volunteer reads a short story representing a positive message or event in someone's life. Hopefully,we will eventually call on our guests to share their own stories.
New in 2006
The news-worthy information for 2006 is the number of people we served. At end of the year, we were on track to serve a record breaking 1460 people: 100 more than last year.
We also accomplished this feat with less money AND better food. Some new menu items we served were cobbler, baked potatoes, and ham.
New in 2005
Thanks to a couple of florists in the area, we now have fresh centerpieces on each table.
We provide each table with a prayer card. It could be from ANY religion!
We recognize birthdays for each month, and then sing the traditional birthday song.
We provide a band, quartet, choir, or pianist to entertain the guests each month.
We have two new sidewalk signs - pointing folks in the right direction once they get near the Grass Valley United Methodist Church.
